ENERGEIN

The project refers to the use of renewable sources of energy and in the developement of systems of energy savings in public areas and public buildings.

Project Summary

The strategic project ENERGEIN aims in the exploitation of the existing vast possibilities for the promotion of a harmonious, balanced and viable energy growth in regional, transregional and cross-border level.

The specific objectives of the project are:

  • The flamboyant application of mature & innovative projects of Energy Saving and Renewable Sources of Energy, in areas, installations and buildings of public sector, with direct proliferation of results in the all citizens & the achievement of into practice viable growth
  • The attracting of private investments in the regions of intervention of the project, with starting line the flamboyant work and the actions of the strategic project.
  • The creation of new jobs & the growth of new innovative markets.
  • The multilayered contribution in the European & national objectives of Greece & Cyprus (20-20-20) as well as in the preparation of policies of macro regional development in anticipation of the new programmatic period (2014-2020), via the specialization of formulation of strategic period “EUROPE 2020" and future policy of cohesion of EU.
  • The contribution in energy safety & in the climatic change.
  • The energy upgrade of tourism infrastructures, the tourist growth and the creation of new jobs
