BIOBUS is a Regional project of Innovation Co-Financed from the EU and from national resources that has as its objective to promote the significance of biodiversity in the enterprises of Northern Aegean. More specifically, it aims in the application of a line of relative intersectorial innovative energies of biodiversity in Northern Aegean.
It focuses in the development of new products of biodiversity and it encourages the creation of innovative enterprises of biodiversity, which are connected with educational institutions, organisms of benefit of services to the enterprises, etc. and encourage efforts of constitution of young persons of innovative enterprises and companies in sectors of peak in the Region. The goal of the project is the promotion of innovative energies based in endogenous resources of biodiversity in Northern Aegean, through the development of new products, applications, processes and technologies. Also, strengthen the creation, distribution and assimilation of knowledge of biodiversity inside the productive structure, as fundamental source of innovations and regional competitive advantage.
More specifically the project is interested for:
- the distribution and the briefing on the existence of possibility of enterprising development based in resources of biodiversity
- the investigation and the treatment of concrete enterprising occasions based in existing, endogenous resources of biodiversity
- the support of enterprises, via specialized technical diagnoses, for their growth. Their development will be based on the existing occasions of biodiversity.
The pilot actions, that will be developed in the frame of the project is:
- creation of Centers of Innovation, Briefing and Distribution of new enterprising opportunities
- systematic study, investigation and coding of all enterprising opportunities that are created in regional level
- development of selected enterprising drawings of new enterprises, aiming at the production of new products of exploitation of natural resources of biodiversity of islands of Northern Aegean
- aid of selected investments for new enterprises and production of new products.
