The ERMIS project promotes the development of an effective and transferable model management of local systems of innovation aiming at the aid of innovation of small to medium-sized enterprises that at common admission constitutes the backbone of local societies of regions and particularly these with the finances, social but also geographic characteristics of Region of Northern Aegean.
As is known, the EU widely promotes the management and the co-ordination of public policies for the innovation as a key factor for mapping out the local and
regional strategies of innovation. In this frame and via the project ERMIS is encouraged the narrow trans regional collaboration, between the organizations of operational support, the centers of knowledge and the institutions of mapping out of policy.
More analytically the objectives of the project are the followings:
- the exchange of experience and good practices between the partners, with regard to the better methods, that can render a local system of innovation more effective
- the joint study of these better practices
- the planning and the development of methodological tools of management of local systems of innovation.
