NAIAS

The project NAIAS aims to contribute in the growth of a new, pioneering, regional identity in the region of Northern Aegean as well as to promote the use of new technologies, methods and know-how from the local professionals. The strategy of the project is focused in the two following thematic fields:

• in the cultivation of an innovating mentality in the economy and in the society of Northern Aegean Region, with the establishment of a frame that will direct in the innovation and will connect the sectors of research, technology and innovation more effectively
• in the management of sectors of regional innovation and ecological efficiency, based on the needs of small to medium-sized enterprises,that face problems in the access and in the application of modern technology

The main objectives of the project is to develop pilot applications, so it can:

• support the needs of important economic sectors for the Northern Aegean Region
• improve the quality of life of residents of the region
• experiment with the innovative use of technologies
• watch the profits of their application
